Noir Been awhile since I’ve reviewed something for AoD, and now, they’re not even called AoD anymore. For my first review under the Mania regime, I take a look at the girl’s with guns saga known as Noir. Sound off in the AoD forums (while they’re still called that) and let me know what you think of the series.

How does it compare to Siamese Neko? I personally got bored by one of those sampler discs ADV used to sell, so I didn't continue Noir.

BTW, I mentioned earlier that, if you liked 3X3 Eyes, you should check out the creator's other work, Cat Girl Nuku Nuku, and it appears ADV's releasing it in a definitive set in a couple months.

I'd say Noir is better. However, Siamese Neko was only a one shot OVA, so it isn't a fair comparison.

As for Nuku Nuku, tried watching that once and didn't really get into it.

Luis: Which Nuku Nuku? There are three versions, so your mileage might vary.

Tried watching the original OVA way back when; amusing but didn't grab me enough to see it through to the end.

Might have caught a random TV episode here or there, but if I did, it clearly didn't leave much of an impression.
